Getting Ready to Spring Ahead

Thank you to all who attended (physically or virtually) the second annual African American Read-In.  We had a great turn out and some fabulous readers, including the kindergarten class at the UT Early Learning Center, many current students & professors, as well as alumni.  Thank you for taking time to honor African American authors.

African American Read-In

We hope you have planned to join us tomorrow from 1:00-5:00 p.m. in the Dixie Marie Wooten Commons area of Hodges Library on the University of Tennessee campus for our second annual African American Read-In.  We have many readers scheduled and some great literature will be highlighted.  If you are not able to attend, but still wish to participate, you may follow the Center for Children's and Young Adult Literature on Twitter or you may watch a livestreaming of the even.
