Nancy Werlin Lecture

Nancy Werlin PosterThe Center for Children's and Young Adult Literature will be hosting a lecture by young adult author Nancy Werlin on Friday, October 29 at 7:00pm at the East Tennessee Historical Society. Some of Werlin's works include The Rules of Survival,for which she was named a National Book Award Finalist, and the Edgar Award winning The Killer's Cousin. Her latest novel is Extraordinary.

Prelutsky Event Cancelled


It is with great disappointment that the Center for Children's &Young Adult Literature must announce that our October 6 lecture with Jack Prelutsky has been cancelled. Mr. Prelutsky has taken ill and is unable to perform.  We hope to reschedule Mr. Prelutsky's lecture for a date in the near future.
